By accessing or using Periodic Gains ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Periodic Gains is a software automation tool only. It is NOT financial advice, investment advice, or a trading recommendation of any kind. Trading stocks, options, and other securities involves substantial risk of loss. You may lose all of the money you invest. Past performance of any strategy does not guarantee future results.
Periodic Gains provides infrastructure for automated trading. All strategies, parameters, and risk settings are defined entirely by you. The software executes mechanically according to your configuration. You are solely responsible for all trading decisions and outcomes.
Periodic Gains offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Subscriptions are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time unless covered by our refund policy.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, continued access to paid features requires an active paid subscription.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system, or use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that it will operate without errors, execute all intended trades, or produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Periodic Gains and its owners shall not be liable for any trading losses, missed trades, system failures, or any other damages arising from use of the software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Mad Market Lab Monsters (at /game) is a free game from Periodic Gains. It uses play money only and is free to play: every game includes free plays each day. There are no cash prizes, gift cards or other rewards of monetary value, and no random or chance-based purchases. Rewards are experience points, in-game coins, unlocks and badges. Experience points and in-game coins are earned only by playing, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and have no cash value.
Paid plans. Active paid Periodic Gains subscriptions (Researcher and Mad Scientist, monthly or annual) include unlimited plays in the game once it is linked to the subscriber's account. Daily experience-point limits still apply. Unlimited play ends when the paid subscription ends.
Play packs (optional). Signed-in Periodic Gains account holders may buy play packs that add extra plays to one specific game (for example, extra experiments and battles, levels, flights or rounds). Play packs only add plays; they never add experience points, in-game coins, stats or other advantages. Packs are a one-time payment through PayPal, are stored on your Periodic Gains account, do not expire, and are non-refundable once used (unused packs are covered by our refund policy). Plays have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged.
Game results are simulated from historical market data. They are not financial advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and do not predict future results.
Sharing your strategies is optional and off by default. If you choose "Share my strategies with Periodic Gains" (when you start or later in the game's settings), you grant Periodic Gains a free, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide right to view, study, use, adapt and build on the strategies you create in the game, including to improve its products, without payment or attribution to you. You can turn sharing off at any time; from then on your strategies are no longer shown to or used by Periodic Gains for new purposes. If you do not opt in, your strategies are stored only to run your own game.
No email is needed to play. The game stores a random player ID on your device. You can delete your game data at any time from the game's settings.
